Garrick Watchmakers surpassed all my expectations. I tasked them the challenge of repairing my 20 year old watch. The strap had a complicated double pin on the strap, which no other watchmaker was capable of tackling. It proved tricky and complex however, Garrick's expertise and craftsmanship meant they worked until they found a solution. I am now the proud owner of a very stylish quality time peace, that looks better than ever!

I first encountered Garrick some years ago at Salon QP at or shortly after the brand launched. I was immediately impressed by the quality and originality of Garrick and made a mental note to indulge myself one day. Since then, I have followed the evolution of Garrick with interest. As the brand moved ever more into the realms of haute horlogerie, I feared that my wallet and I might be left behind, so I bit the bullet. Having decided that the white dial on the Norfolk was (despite it’s beautiful appearance) a bit too white for me, I opted to take Garrick up on their bespoke service offering. The team (led by Dave Brailsford) were as good as their advertising and I am now in possession of a wonderful mid-blue dialled Norfolk. I am always a bit anxious going “bespoke” as you don’t have the opportunity to see what you are ordering in the metal. However, throughout the process, Garrick were patient with my demands and desires and very helpful in fulfilling them. I am delighted with the watch as evidenced by the fact that it has barely left my wrist in the month I have owned it. If I win the lottery, I will be back for an S1.

Absolutely fantastic watch strap replacement service by Garrick. Garrick have crafted the most beautiful, quality strap for my Christian DIor RIVA watch. Throughout the whole process, Dave Brailsford kept in touch with me, checking on my requirements and offering trusted, expert suggestions. To say I am delighted with the strap, in an understatement.

David and the team at Garrick want commending for the watches they produce. I always buy watches made in the UK and it is always nice to come across such dedicated people with regard to quality.David was a pleasure to deal with from my initial enquiry to delivery. The Norfolk itself is a marvel. The dial is amazing - it is not easy to achieve an enamel dial of such quality. The hands are mesmerising when the sunlight hits them. The crown is elegant and complements perfectly .The exhibition case back is a delight - not too fussy but not devoid of features.I will certainly be watching this brand from now on.

The guys at Garrick are amazing. From start to finish there was constant updates and options to tailor the watch to my exact liking. Dave is great and even sent the watch down for me to look at before everything was finalised which I thought was a great touch. Everything about it is fantastic and I couldn’t recommended them enough if you love seriously well made watches. And knowing that someone has sat down and spent the time to build the watch and it’s pieces by hand makes it extra special in my eyes. Also the shark skin strap is exquisite!

I am extremely happy with my new Garrick Norfolk, which feels such a premium product. It is fantastic to be able to purchase a bespoke product on your own doorstep. With great products and constant communication I can't recommend Garrick and David enough. Thank you for a fantastic watch that I will treasure for many years to come.

Thanks to the new Calibre UT-G01, the Portsmouth is set to become the first watch that defines the company as a watchmaker first and foremost

Escapement

The Garrick Portsmouth is an expensive watch but, based on its array of attributes, justifiably so. Indeed, I would even suggest the watch is actually underpriced and would warrant another £4000 on the asking price and still prove competitive

The important thing for British watchmaking is that Garrick Watch Co. is very much part of the conversation.
